Lakefront Rentals in Coeur d'Alene & North Idaho

Private docks and beach access on Lake Coeur d'Alene, Hayden Lake, Twin Lakes, Bottle Bay, and the Spokane River. Book direct with the local team.

North Idaho has more shoreline than most people realize, and we have properties spread across it. Lake Coeur d'Alene alone stretches 25 miles, and Hayden Lake, Twin Lakes, and Bottle Bay each have their own character. Our rentals sit right on the water — private docks, sandy beaches, and decks built for watching the sun drop behind the Selkirk Range. A couple of our homes are on the Spokane River too, if moving water is more your speed.

What to expect at our lakefront homes

North Idaho's lakes and rivers, property by property

Lake Coeur d'Alene

The largest lake in the region and the one most visitors come for. Rentals here put you within a few minutes of downtown CDA's restaurants and marina, while still giving you a private dock or beach to come home to. Good for families who want water access without being far from town.

Hayden Lake

Quieter than CDA and about 15 minutes north. Hayden Lake draws guests who want fewer boats on the water and more trees around them. The lake is deep and clear, and the fishing is reliable through summer. Our Hayden Lake cabin has a private dock and sleeps up to eight.

Twin Lakes

Two connected lakes in Rathdrum, about 20 minutes from CDA. The Twin Lakes Retreat sits right on the water with a dock and room for the whole group. It's a good pick if you want a quieter base and don't need to be close to town.

Bottle Bay on Lake Pend Oreille

Lake Pend Oreille is one of the deepest lakes in the country, and Bottle Bay is a sheltered cove on its southern end. The drive from CDA takes around 45 minutes, but the setting is worth it. Bring a boat or rent one locally — the lake is big enough to spend a full day on the water without retracing your route.

Spokane River — Post Falls and Spokane

Two of our properties sit on the Spokane River rather than a lake. The Post Falls home is about 10 minutes west of CDA, right on the water with kayaks included. The Vesper Bleu retreat is across the state line in Spokane, with river views from the deck and easy access to the city. Both are good options if you want moving water or prefer a riverside setting over a lake.

What to do on the water

Most guests come to swim, fish, or get a boat out. Private docks make launching easy, and several homes include kayaks or paddleboards. Lake CDA has a public boat launch near the city marina if you're trailering in. Fishing licenses are available online through Idaho Fish and Game — kokanee salmon, rainbow trout, and bass are the main draws depending on the lake and season. If you'd rather rent a pontoon or a ski boat for the day, local outfitters in CDA and Bayview can set that up.

The vacation rental was clean and beautiful. Just as described. Wish we had more time just hanging out at the house as it was very comfy and had plenty of cozy spaces to relax. Communication was great and would definitely recommend this rental to anyone.

Always a great stay - been a 3-time repeat here and it’s always dependable & just like the photos. <br/>As we’ve stayed here over the years, we noticed improvement suggestions we’ve made be incorporated, so nice to see hosts that read feedback! Will come again.
