The Space

Welcome to The Bay House, your private waterfront escape on beautiful Lake Pend Oreille.

This is the kind of place where mornings start with coffee on the deck overlooking the water, afternoons are spent swimming, paddleboarding, and jumping off the dock, and evenings end with a soak in the hot tub while the sun sets across the bay. Tucked along scenic Bay Drive in Sagle, this lakefront retreat combines everything people love about a classic lake vacation with the comfort and amenities of a modern getaway.

The private dock quickly becomes the center of the action. Spend the day fishing, swimming, floating in the bay, or exploring the shoreline by kayak, paddleboard, canoe, or paddle boat. Bring your own boat and tie up right at the dock, or take a scenic cruise across the water to Sandpoint for lunch, shopping, or an evening out. Many guests find themselves spending entire days outside without ever wanting to leave the property.

When it's time to relax, the expansive gated deck offers front-row seats to the lake. Fire up the BBQ, gather around the fire table, settle into the rocking chairs with a drink, or slip into the hot tub and enjoy the view. Whether you're watching boats drift through the bay or enjoying a quiet morning surrounded by nature, the outdoor spaces are designed to make the most of this incredible setting.

Inside, you'll find a warm and welcoming lake cabin with plenty of room for family and friends to gather. The living room features a stunning stone fireplace and large windows that bring the beauty of the lake indoors. The fully equipped kitchen is stocked and ready for everything from pancake breakfasts to family dinners after a day on the water. High-speed WiFi and Smart TVs are available, but don't be surprised if the lake steals all your attention.

The primary suite features a queen bed, private bathroom, and French doors that open directly onto the deck, making it easy to enjoy the view before the rest of the house wakes up. The second bedroom includes a queen bed and a twin bed, while the bunk room features a full-over-full bunk bed with a twin trundle that's perfect for kids and larger groups.

Need even more space? The separate game house gives everyone another place to gather and have fun. Complete with a kitchenette, foosball table, and additional hangout space, it's perfect for friendly competition, rainy-day activities, or giving kids and adults their own places to relax.

What guests love most about The Bay House isn't just the dock, the hot tub, or the game room—it's the feeling. Days seem longer, schedules disappear, and everyone naturally spends more time together. It's the kind of lake house that turns ordinary weekends into favorite family memories.
