Lake Access Apartment Near One Shot Charlie's

The location is perfect. Steps to the beach, marina, Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes, and several great restaurants and bars. The beds were clean and comfortable. The building is historic and charming, but it needs some finishing touches.
The biggest issue is that this place feels about 80% finished. It is obviously a historic building, but that has caused some unique challenges. For starters, the main entrance is really hard to get open and closed because the door stuck. My wife was unable to open the door by herself because of a bad shoulder which created a safety hazard. The door to the extra bedroom upstairs doesn't have a lock to the hallway. The windows don't really open, and there is only one small air conditioner that was not enough to cool this place enough to making sleeping comfortable. Also the ceilings had a lot of cobwebs because they were probably too high to clean.
I think this is a new rental, and with a little more work, it will get really dialed in. We would stay again

The apartment was spacious and had a cool historic vibe. Beds are comfortable, bathroom was clean, and location is great- walkable to everything in Harrison. We felt the kitchen could use some TLC and it was a bit dirty. We had trouble getting into the apartment- the outside door was sticking. It took about an hour to get a call back from the management company, but the owner was responsive once she knew there was a problem. Overall, we would stay there again.

A really neat place with a few flaws. The pro's are: very spacious, historic old place in the upstairs of the old Oddfellows Hall. In terms of square feet/$ you can't beat it if that matters to you. The bike trail right below; restaurants and the bike shop a block a way. And it's very quiet even with a busy restaurant downstairs. And they communicated really great and helped us promptly with issues.
The bummer is there were issues. The first confirmation email from their system lacked the check in info but did have a phone # and someone responded very promptly. Then getting there the front door was stuck but again quick response to a call and she got someone from the restaurant downstairs to open it for us and once we figured out the right way to "force" the door is was okay. And as has been mentioned in other reviews the stand alone A/C is loud and barely keeps the place cool. Another bummer was the windows don't open so you can't let the cool morning air in.
